Bosquara and Fisher Fiend
Goodnight my son, I wish you well
I hope your thoughts are clean.
For tonight you might meet Bosquara
And his friend called Fisher Fiend.
Be wise, my son, and listen close
Do everything you should.
Or the Fisher Fiend and Bosquara
Will take everything that’s good.
The evil thoughts, kept deep inside
Of every single being
Are caught in thought until they rot
From everything they’re fleeing.
The Bosquara is giant
Thick chains drag by his side
And if you hold an evil thought
Get ready for a ride.
The Bosquara is patient
He sits right by your bed
And with his drooling hunger
Waits for what’s in your head.
The Bosquara is hungry
He feeds off evil things
And with him always is his friend
The one called Fisher Fiend.
The Fisher Fiend, he casts his net
Across your sleeping thoughts.
And any bad that’s in your head
He feeds to Bosquara.
With every cast, he pulls his net
Your memories held tight.
He looks at them with hateful scorn
At everything that’s right.
But once he finds a rotten thought
He dances out with glee
For evil feeds his dear old friend
And makes his soul feel free.
Once it’s caught, the Fisher Fiend
His claws wrapped ‘round your thought
He holds them up outside the mouth
Of the hungry Bosquara.
The Bosquara won’t chew his food
He swallows each thought whole.
He slurps and gulps and licks his lips
His meal your evil soul.
And once these thoughts are swallowed
Bosquara will not let go
And forgiveness for these evil deeds
Your soul will never know
And there they sit, most every night
And wait for you to sleep
Upon the bad that you have done
And secrets that you keep.
There is still hope, my loving son
In case you have done wrong.
The Bosquara, he hates so much
The music of a song.
So sing a song of joyful times
The happiness of old.
The Bosquara, his chains pulled tight
Will feel his hate grow cold.
And when you wake up early
To morning’s glowing sheen.
You’ll know you’ve beat the Bosquara
And his friend called Fisher Fiend.
